Services / Cost per cup

What does a cup of office coffee actually cost?

The cost per cup depends on four things: machine, beans, milk and service. Here's how they fit together — and how to work out a rough figure for your own office.

The cost per cup breaks down roughly like this: machine rental and service are the biggest fixed cost, beans and milk are variable and scale with consumption. The more cups per day, the smaller the fixed cost share per cup — a high-traffic office often gets a better price per cup than a low-traffic one, despite the same machine.

We'll give you an exact figure per cup once we know your real consumption and which machine fits — that takes a short call.
